By installing Rakkio or accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of Service

Rakkio provides tools to organize your wardrobe, analyze garment care labels, and track your laundry orders. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

2. Premium Subscriptions & Billing

Some features of Rakkio require a premium subscription (e.g., unlimited wardrobe scanning, advanced AI tag decoding, and push notification reminders).

• Billing & Plans: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or yearly basis via RevenueCat, linking directly to your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellations: You can cancel your subscription renewal at any time through your mobile device App Store settings page. Your premium entitlements will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle.

3. Intellectual Property & Uploads

You retain ownership of the garments, descriptions, and tag images you catalog in the app. However, by uploading photos to Rakkio, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to process these images through Gemini AI solely to run care analysis and visual similarity functions.

4. Service Availability & Offline Operation

Rakkio includes local caching and offline queuing so you can manage your wardrobe without internet access. While we aim for high service availability of our backend endpoints, we do not guarantee uninterrupted server operations. We are not responsible for any synchronization delays caused by your local network provider.

5. Account Termination

You have the right to delete your account at any time within the app settings. Account deletion is permanent and will trigger a cascade database process that immediately destroys all your uploaded clothing items, photos, active laundry trips, and notification preferences. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse our AI processing bandwidth.

6. Limitation of Liability

Rakkio uses AI-powered tag analysis to decipher care labels. While the system is highly accurate, AI interpretations are recommendations only. Rakkio is not liable for any physical damage, shrinking, or discoloration of clothing items caused by your external laundry service providers or household cleaning routines.
