Welcome to Rakkio. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Rakkio ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, processes, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application and our website.

1. Information We Collect

To provide a premium wardrobe tracking and laundry management experience, Rakkio collects the following information:

  • Account Information: When you register an account, we collect your name, email address, password, and optionally your phone number or avatar photo.
  • OAuth Credentials: If you choose to log in using Google or Apple authentication, we receive public profile details (email, name, and profile picture ID) permitted by your provider's settings.
  • Garment Records & Media: We store clothing metadata you input (e.g., category, size, status, and expected delivery dates). Images you capture via the scanner are uploaded to our secure Supabase storage buckets.
  • Push Tokens: To send you pick-up notifications and service updates, we store your device's Expo Push Token.

2. How We Process and Use Your Information

Your information is processed to execute core application functionalities:

  • Gemini AI Integration: Garment care labels you scan are processed using Google Gemini AI models to analyze composition text and extract care symbols (wash, dry, bleach, iron, etc.).
  • Visual Garment Similarity: We generate and store 768-dimension visual embeddings using Gemini Embedding APIs to match duplicate clothing items and toggle item status rather than creating duplicates.
  • Trips & Progress Tracking: Grouping items sent to cleaners into trips with expected return dates.
  • Reminders and Notifications: Evaluating your wardrobe rules to send notifications based on the thresholds configured in your settings.
  • Subscription Verification: Processing store transactions and entitlement details via RevenueCat.

3. Data Storage, Deletion, and Privacy Control

We prioritize data ownership and user privacy:

  • Secure Cloud Storage: Databases are hosted securely in Supabase PostgreSQL, and files are served via private/public garment storage containers.
  • Offline Cache Preservation: Local data is stored on your device using AsyncStorage and memory cache layers for instant load and offline resilience.
  • Right to Deletion: You can delete your account at any time within the app settings. Account deletion immediately and permanently purges your profile, associated clothing items, trips, and uploads from our database and Supabase storage.

4. Third-Party Services

We coordinate with secure, trusted third-party providers to execute specific application features:

  • Google AI Studio / Gemini: For care symbol extraction and visual embeddings.
  • Supabase: For database hosting and garment image storage.
  • RevenueCat: For secure in-app purchases, proration flows, and billing status checking.
  • Expo Push Service: For dispatching notifications to your phone.
  • Sentry: For capturing client and server runtime crashes to troubleshoot errors.
